Donations Convey Love, Empower From the Heart -- Liangshan Visit

On May 5, the Chen Lin Vocal Art Academy and Fu Hui Education Foundation jointly hosted the “All for Our Kids: Liangshan Trip” cheque donation ceremony and press conference. The event showcased a beautiful fusion of art and philanthropy, highlighting how compassion has no borders.

Art and Charity Hand in Hand: Supporting Education through Giving

The Chen Lin Vocal Art Academy remains committed to its mission of “giving back to society through art.” Continuing its longstanding support for the Fu Hui Education Foundation, the Academy raised an impressive $15,000 CAD this year through enthusiastic donations from both teacher and students. These funds will directly support educational initiatives in Liangshan, China, as well for Indigenous students in Canada, bridging communities through the transformative power of education.

Journey to Liangshan: A Gift of Resources and Heartfelt Connection

From February 26 to 28, 2025, Teacher Chen Lin, Head of the Academy, personally traveled to Liangshan, China, where she delivered RMB 48,991 worth of supplies to more than 170 students across three Fu Hui-sponsored schools. Despite experiencing altitude sickness, she engaged deeply with the students, sharing warmth and encouragement.

Chen Lin reflected emotionally:
“The children’s smiles, despite their difficult living conditions, made me truly appreciate the power of education. We hope this small gesture can inspire greater possibilities in their lives.”

The remaining $4,000 CAD from the donation will go toward supporting the Indigenous youth in Canada.

Cheque Presentation Ceremony: A Collective Act of Kindness

The donation ceremony was attended by Stanley Kwan, Chairman of the Fu Hui Education Foundation, and Judy San, President of the Foundation, who formally accepted the donation. In recognition of their contributions, Fu Hui presented the Chen Lin Vocal Art Academy with a plaque of appreciation.

Also present were Mr. Liang Erhei, Chairman of the Toronto Chinese Artists Center, and other community leaders, who came together to witness and support the act of giving.

Stanley Kwan noted:
“The generous support from the Chen Lin Vocal Art Academy reflects the Chinese community’s deep commitment to education. Fu Hui will continue serving as a bridge to bring love and opportunities to children in need.”

陳琳聲樂藝術學院與福慧教育基金會於5月5日上午共同舉辦了《一切為了孩子·涼山行》支票交接捐贈儀式暨新聞發布會。這項活動不僅展現了藝術與慈善的深度融合，也傳遞了跨越國界的溫暖力量。

藝術與公益同行，愛心善款助力教育

陳琳聲樂藝術學院始終秉持 「以藝術回饋社會」 的宗旨，一直支持福慧教育基金會的助學公益，今年特呼籲師生踴躍捐輸，共籌得善款15,000加元。

這筆資金專項用於支持中國涼山地區教育發展及加拿大原住民學生培訓項目，體現了「兩地同心」 的公益理念。

涼山之行：物質與心靈的雙重饋贈

2025年2月26日至28日，學院院長陳琳老師親赴涼山，克服高山症走訪三所計劃學校，為170餘名受助學生送去價值48,991元人民幣的物資，並與師生深入交流。

陳琳老師動情分享：「孩子們在艱苦環境中依然保持的笑容，讓我深刻感受到教育的力量。我們希望透過這份微薄的心意，為他們點亮更多可能。」剩餘四千多加元善款將用於資助本國加拿大原住民學生的技能培訓，延續愛心使命。

支票交接儀式：各界共襄善舉

支票的交接儀式上，福慧教育基金會主席關保衛，會長黃綺銣出席活動接受捐款。福慧亦向陳琳聲樂藝術學院頒發感謝狀。多倫多華人藝術家中心主席梁二黑先生等嘉賓出席見證。關保衛表示：“陳琳學院的善舉展現了華人社區對教育的深切關懷，福慧將繼續搭建橋樑，讓愛心惠及更多需要幫助的孩子。”
