CANADIAN INDIGENOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM 

Fu Hui understands that many Canadian Chinese care about the development of Indigenous communities in Canada, and therefore actively raises funds among the Chinese community to support various Indigenous programs. For the children, Fu Hui refurbished and upgraded school libraries. For adults, Fu Hui offered annual scholarships in the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Social Work’s Specialist Program in Indigenous Trauma and Resiliency. For seniors, Fu Hui funded programs to help them learn to read and write. 

 

加拿大原住民教育项目

福慧瞭解到加拿大社區不少華人都關心加拿大原住民社區發展， 故此積極在華人社區籌募資金以大力發展原住民助學項目。福慧陸續為多所原住民學校翻新或設立圖書館; 為多倫多大學社工學院”原住民創傷與復原”碩士課程提供奬學金; 及後再資助原住民長者讀寫班， 解決他們生活上的讀寫需要。
