Vocational Training Program

Acquire a Skill, Be Independent

Within Liangshan, in the next few years,  there will be many students graduating from junior high school.  For those who can matriculate into senior high, Fu Hui will continue to support them.

As for the rest, Fu Hui has diligently studied reports provided by the local government identifying the professions in demand and do our best to allow the students to enroll in vocational schools to acquire a skill such as electrician, plumber, machinist, nurse, kindergarten teacher, hospitality personnel etc. After graduation these students will be independent and can help to improve the conditions in their home towns.  Today, our students are enrolled in vocational schools in over 40 locations including Xichang, Chengdu and even Shanghai.

Assistance in Adapting to Urban Life

Fu Hui is worried about the students’ ability to adapt to the vast differences between rural and urban living in a large city.  So we hired an experienced teacher from the area to serve as their guardian to assist them in adapting to urban life.

Vocation training is Fu Hui’s future direction, we are now in our seventh years already.  The number of students has grown from 100 to close to 500 now.  In seven years, we have invested over 2.4 million  RMB on 1,500 sponsorships.
