“Facing the Future, Launching Our Dreams”

Another summer, another season to say goodbye. Fu Hui’s Elite class and girls class graduates are ready to leave school with their bright smiling faces, ready for their new journey. From June 7-9, 2020, Fu Hui’s frontline projects team celebrated graduations with the theme of “Facing the Future, Launching Our Dreams” at the following schools: LiangShan Prefecture National High School, XiChang City Chuanxing High School, HuiLi Practical High School, JiaoJi He High School, TuoJue Centre School, BuLuo Centre School, XiChang City LuYin School, and XiChang City Yuelin Wenwu School. Each graduation included activities such as “Launching Our Dreams”, “I Want to Say to You”, “graduation gift exchange”, “Gratitude for Our Teachers” and graduation cake cutting.

Meanwhile, Fu Hui partners from LiangShan Prefecture’s MeiGu County and GuangXi Province’s Shangsi County also joined celebrations for Fu Hui graduating starlets at MeiGu County National High School, MeiGu County BaPu Township Junior High School, MeiGu County NiuNiuBa Junior High School, GuangXi Province Shangsi National High School and Shangsi High School.

There were 89 Fu Hui primary school graduates, 648 junior high graduates and 49 senior high school graduates. They are all from poor families. Fu Hui will continue to support them to further their education if they achieve the target results.

XiChang City Chuanxing High School

Fu Hui’s XinHuaAi Pearl class graduates celebrated their graduation on the afternoon of June 5. Everyone participated enthusiastically, and pledged to stay connected with Fu Hui after the “Facing the Future speeches”. They sang “Children of Our Country” and presented hand made gifts to representatives of Fu Hui who were all very moved.

XiChang City Yuelin Wenwu School

Graduates started their set up early in the day for their graduation on the afternoon of June 7, 2020. The gift exchange activity was particularly poignant. Fu Hui had custom made bookmarks for each student with their name inscribed. The bookmarks were randomly distributed and were presented to the graduate named with heartfelt remarks from their classmate. With the bookmark, students expressed their feelings about the friendships developed over their 3 years together.

LiangShan Prefecture National High School

On the evening of June 7, graduates celebrated their graduation in four classrooms with their classmates. During the segment on “Facing the Future, Launching Our Dreams”, they watched a three minute video on inspirations and dreams. Then they shared their own dreams, and wrote their wishes on greeting cards provided by Fu Hui. They placed their cards on a wall to launch their dreams together.
 

XiChang City LuYin School

The Girls Class graduates started their graduation at noon on June 8, 2020. Their faces brimming with bright smiles, graduates each made a personal image card which was passed around for everyone to write down their impressions of the graduate. Everyone was eager to read what their classmates wrote on their card when it came around to the graduate, savouring each other’s support and encouragement for them.
 

Graduation Memories

After three years of school, besides friendship with each other, students also developed deep bonds with their teachers. Fu Hui provided bouquets and mugs which students presented to their teachers to show their gratitude. Graduates appreciated the fountain pens and watches that Fu Hui gifted them and were even more touched when graduates with June birthdays were celebrated during the cake cutting. This graduation was filled with gifts, dreams, friendship, gratitude and love.

Dear Fu Hui Starlets, may your future be filled with dreams, determination, and courage so that you can travel the seas of knowledge and freely steer towards your success. As long as you maintain the achievement standards, Fu Hui will continue to support your education despite your family’s economic struggles.
