2019 Fu Hui English Summer Camp at Huili Minority Experimental School
In order to provide a meaningful summer holiday to the sponsored students in Huili Minority Experimental School as well as to raise their English standard, Fu Hui organize English Summer Camps in recent years. This year, for the running of the camp activities, a team of over 20 members formed by volunteers from Canada, Hong Kong and other places together with Fu Hui staff stationed at the school. About 50 volunteers in Canada participated for the Skype workshop.
Summer camp for junior high studentThe camp for junior high students ran from 3rd July to 10th July for 200 students. The 7-day program closed amid laughter. Every student learned a lot and were sad to say farewell. They prepared self-made gifts for the volunteers and also got surprises in return. In the closing ceremony, each class presented their program and presented appreciation cards to the volunteer teachers. Outstanding students also received awards.
Summer camp for senior high students
Summer camp for senior high students ran from 10th to 17th July. 100 students participated. The 7-day program gone by swiftly. Students' English standard improved very much. In the closing ceremony, the 2 classes demonstrated their English capability and presented their self-made gifts to the volunteers. We presented certificates to the volunteers and the outstanding students.
